June 1, 2018 @ 10:00 pm

$10

Lief Hall (Vancouver) is on tour in support of her new album Roses for Ruins, a collection of songs which blend electronic beats, foreboding synths and haunting vocal harmonies into pop-flirting melodies which explore the connection between the personal and the political, nature, technology and the subconscious.

Kellarissa is Larissa Loyva, a queer, feminist, classically-trained Vancouver singer and synthesizer experimentalist who uses a loop pedal to expound on simple chord structures to create intricate pop songs. Kellarissa is a fever-dream of reverberating, disembodied voices and soothing waves of warm synths. Her subject matter includes the vastness of the Universe, the mysteries of nature and the compelling beckoning of the sea.

While honing her skills playing in groups such as p:ano, Fake Tears, How to Dress Well, and Destroyer, Kellarissa has released three solo albums on Mint Records: Flamingo (2009), Moon of Neptune (2011) and Ocean Electro (March 2018).

Ghost Twin is a dark synthpop duo from Winnipeg, Canada that combine roaring synthlines, dirty pulsing bass, dreamy guitar, and a haunting vocal dichotomy where Baroque meets Industrial, with live video percussion that feeds cinema through a cut-up technique imbued with occult aesthetics.
Their audio/visual performance creates a full sensory evocative narrative of shadowy haunted rooms occupied by astral phantasms and electronic voices from beyond the aether
